I missed the train ... !!! Again...

me : "Dad ,I have to go by 10.55 , Will you please drop me at railway station ? " I got up in the morning and asked my father.



Dad: "Yep, but you are going to mumbai nah ? "



me: "Yeah .. I forgot to tell you yesterday night , I have booked the tickets for sanhyadri Express. You know what , there was only reservation left for 3 tier AC, and I got that :)" I felt so lucky and proud while telling this to my dad.



Dad : "Oh really ... is there any new Sanhyadri express starts at 10.55 from pune? "



me: "Nah .. !! There is only one sanhyadri express ...Why are you asking so ? "



Dad : "Then lets decide some other option to go to mumbai now" :) ....(he started laughing at me !! )
"dear , its 8.10 am ..and sanhadri express is at 8.15 from talegaon. Now its impossible to catch the train, please check your ticket again"
"I think you have missed the train!!! "



I quickly opened my purse and checked the timings on e-ticket ... Oh really it was at 8.15 from talegaon!!
"I missed the train !!!!!!"



I caught the bus to panvel and then reached dombivili after long 4 hours journey. That's all different story ... I missed the real train this time. But how many times I missed the train rather just missed the train in my life?

when I missed Merritt list of SSC exam . when I missed the best student prize in college. when I missed the 1st prize in running competition. when I missed the admission at good engineering college by few marks. when I missed the H1 visa filing due to unavailability of passport. When I missed good salary while joining one of the good company. When I missed the promotions. When I missed good proposal, When I missed profitable investment,
But when I missed the train, Everytime there was a new learning for me. 'Learning though mistakes & not to repeate them in future' , 'Learnings to be perfect ', 'learnings to be matured'.

Sometimes, I feel, I should miss the train to learn the new lessons.... But train shouldn't be missed so that I will have regret for a lifetime !!
